oin us for an interesting morning of learning about the many pollinators of Harford County at the Susquehannock Wildlife Conservation Center. We will meet at the Red Barn at 9 am and begin with a short introduction, then will embark on a hike around the property as we look for pollinators. We will be searching for some of our favorite pollinators such as Ruby-throated Hummingbirds, Hummingbird Moths, Zebra Swallowtail, Monarchs, Eastern Red Bats and more! Please bring outdoor walking shoes, binoculars, a camera, and water.

We will meet at the red barn at 9:00 am for a brief introduction. Then we will embark on a hike around the property as we search for pollinators in the many habitats that pollinators live in, such as our meadow, forests, and stream banks. We will loop the property and return to the red barn at 11:00 am.

This event is weather-dependent; our rain date will be TBD. The event is limited due to parking, first-come, first-served (please use the link to purchase online). Please carpool if possible. The Susquehannock Wildlife Conservation Center property is not yet open to the public and is only open for special events such as this one at this time.

This event was made possible by a grant from the Harford County Office of Community & Economic Development. For those of you who are visiting from out of town, please consider staying in a local hotel so you can join both of our pollinator events this weekend. Hotel accommodations and other fun things in the area can be found by visiting www.helloharford.com
