Susquehannock Wildlife Center Meadow Tour
Presented by Harford Land Trust and the Susquehannock Wildlife Society
Susquehannock Wildlife Center – 1725 Trappe Church Road, Darlington, 21034
RESCHEDULED to July 11, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm
Presented by John Garrison, Conservation Director of the Susquehannock Wildlife Society
Join the team from Susquehannock Wildlife Society for a hike through a managed meadow at the Susquehannock Wildlife Conservation Center. This hike is a great opportunity to learn how meadow ecosystems support wildlife populations and maintain clean watersheds. We will observe many creatures that thrive in meadows such as Monarch Butterflies, Common Yellowthroats, Yellow-breasted Chats, and many wildflower species.
Parking is limited so please carpool in possible. We will meet at the red barn outside of the Wildlife Conservation Center for a meandering easy hike through the forest and into the meadow, where we will spend the bulk of our time.
* Bring boots or sturdy shoes, a water bottle and snack if wanted, and of course a camera for taking lots of photos!
This event is now full. Thank you to all who registered!
