Rain Barrel Workshop

Did you know? Since 1985, nitrogen pollution from agriculture and wastewater has been reduced in the Chesapeake Bay, but nitrogen pollution from stormwater runoff has continued to grow. That comes from our roads, homes and communities!

This past weekend, we got together to build rain barrels at Tidewater Marina in Havre de Grace so that we can each do our part to help bring that statistic down. Plus, rain barrels help save water, because the rain they collect from your roof can water your garden and wash your car.
